You will notice there has been a points adjustment in the two 9 yr old girls relays, this is due to Garston swimming a 10 yr old down but forgetting to mention it to the recorders until after the gala. The overall positions remain unaltered and Garston have been thanked for their honesty.
We have been contacted by the management at Everton Park who would also like to thank everyone for the friendly spirit in which the gala was competed, but they have also asked me if you could pass the message on to your swimmers that baby wipes (used to wipe face paint off before the gala) must not be flushed down the toilet at ANY gala at Everton Park as this caused a blockage later on Sunday evening resulting in a bit of a mess.
I will be inserting a reminder into next years information pack.
A great competition again in 2013 and we already look forward to 2014!
We will be contacting the top eight clubs in the very near future with the arrangements for the Grand Final on 27/10/13 We will be sending the excel spread sheet out in the next few days to all competing clubs.
For clarification on the adjustment formula please refer to the competition rules in the registration pack
